Nordic award for contribution to innovation in road surfaces

LYSI received the Research and Development award at conference of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration held in Iceland in June this year. LYSI’s R&D Manager Dr. Arnar Halldorsson accepted the award on behalf of the company.
Dr. Halldorsson gave a talk at the conference entitled “Fish Oil Ethyl Esters for Bitumen Modification in Surface Dressing”. It discussed Iceland’s contribution to the R&D competition on improvements in road surfaces, which is held every four years. First prize went to LYSI, and the picture shows Dr. Halldorsson at the ceremony. A few links may be found below, including one to the abstract of Dr. Halldorsson’s talk.
