LYSI’s Cod Liver Oil is rich in EPA and DHA fatty acids as well as vitamins A and D. The Cod Liver Oil is made from the fresh livers of cod caught in the pure, fresh waters around Iceland. The oil is free from genetically modified materials and components.
Following is the standard specification, which can be amended to meet customers’ requirements.
A pale yellow oil. Odour and taste are slightly fishy. The oil is obtained from the fresh livers of cod (Gadus morhua morhua) and other species of gadus. It is refined and clarified by filtration at about 0°C. The oil is deodorised.
