Shark liver oil is regarded especially beneficial to the immune system as it is rich in alkoxyglycerols which supports the production of white blood cells in our body.

Alkoxyglycerols can be found in healthy bone marrow and breast milk, but not the same quantities as in shark liver oil.

For years, Icelanders have enjoyed the strengthening properties of shark liver oil. The immune system needs all the help it can get to prevent colds and other illnessess.

Shark liver oil does not contain vitamins A and D, and can therefore be safely taken with cod liver oil supplements rich in those vitamins.
