LYSI has started production of fish oil concentrates in a new highly automated production line.
Initial production consists of 33% EPA and 22% DHA concentrate as ethyl esters.
The new line that was designed by LYSI’s experts together with a local engineering firm is a welcome addition to the state of the art fish oil processing plant inaugurated in 2005. This addition will strengthen LYSI’s already broad product portfolio, and the company’s extended experience in refining of fish oils helps to make the new concentrates of high quality and purity.
With an annual production capacity of 300 metric tons LYSI intends to start with the production of 33% EPA and 22% DHA as ethyl esters. The new product will be offered in LYSI’s consumer brands as well as in bulk. Later on the company plans to offer concentrates with various ratios of EPA and DHA in both ethyl ester and triglyceride forms.
