LYSI doubles the production capacity

The inauguration of the new processing plant in June 15th 2012 is yet another milestone in the development of LYSI as a leader in the production of high quality fish oils for human consumption.
The new plant is adjacent to the existing plant which is only seven years old and it doubles the production capacity of the company. The “old” plant was already fully utilised and strong demand for the company’s products called for additional capacity to reduce lead times and to allow for expansion. With the addition the total production capacity has reached 13 thousand tonnes annually.
LYSI now has processing plants that are second to none regarding production technology and this fact combined with the profound expertise of the staff bring the company to the forefront as a manufacturer of high quality fish oils for human consumption. LYSI is ISO 9001 certified as well as GMP and BRC.
The major fish oil types are Cod Liver Oil and Cod Oil, Omega-3 Oil, Tuna Fish Oil as well as Salmon Oil, Shark Liver Oil and fish oil concentrates.
